Hello, welcome to my workshops!

Let me start with a brief introduction.
Since I am a saxophonist, we are going to deal with a saxophone, its sound, playing technique, practice methods, improvisation and with some other matters concerning this wonderful instrument. Each issue is going to be discussed in the form of the Subjects - Lessons. Over the course of time, I'll try to supplement successively every subject and to introduce the new ones. Except the text, I'm also going to provide you with some handy photos and different sound clips, etc. I'd like to underline that everything I write here is subjective. This is my own look at this issue resulting from the experience and knowledge acquired through the years of playing and practising. I am fascinated by the saxophone and that's why I always talk about it with a real passion and commitment.
I'm going to present my own, individual point of view, my remarks, working methods and numerous excercises. Well... I'm quite aware that probably not all of you are going to find it useful. But I'll be very glad if somebody makes use of my experience, reflections and methods and it will help him/her achieve the desired results.

I'd like to divide my Workshops into a few parts:
  1. How to practise the saxophone?
(exercising methods, time managing, how to achieve the intended results...)
  2. How to develop your sound
(sound - what and how to exercise, what you should pay attention to, effective methods of sound producing, breathing...)
  3. Technique of the saxophonist
(precision, articulation, fingering, how to play fast, how to play slow...)
  4. Rhythm
(rhythmical patterns, practising methods, rhythmical ideas, swing and so on...)
  5. How to look after your instrument?
(a few tips and remarks that will help you take good care of your instrument...)
