Platinum Weddings
Platinum Weddings is a television series on U.S. cable channel WE, also known as Women s Entertainment .The popularity of Platinum Weddings, at least by WE s standards, is such that they did not require a pilot to be shot before giving the new series the green light. Seasons 1 & 2 were both half seasons, consisting of only 12 episodes each. Season 3, currently in production as of 12/14/2007, will be the show s first full-length season. .
The show follows the planning and execution of a lavish wedding. The series is produced by Film Garden Entertainment. The company is also currently in production of a spin-off series, also for WE, entitled Amazing Wedding Cakes.
